Set up ingredients and recipes once
Add your ingredient list with units and starting stock levels. Then define recipes for each menu item — how much of each ingredient goes into every dish. This takes about 30–60 minutes for a typical menu and never needs to be repeated.

You define the recipe for each menu item once — for example, a Chicken Biryani uses 250g chicken, 150g rice, and 20ml oil. Every time a Chicken Biryani is billed, CurryIQ automatically deducts those exact quantities from your ingredient stock. No manual entry. No end-of-day counting required.
Can I track inventory at the ingredient level, not just the dish level?
Yes. CurryIQ tracks inventory at the raw ingredient level. You see real-time stock of chicken, rice, tomatoes, cheese — whatever you stock. You can set reorder levels per ingredient and CurryIQ alerts you when stock falls below that level, before you actually run out.
How do low stock alerts work?
You set a minimum stock level for each ingredient during setup — for example, alert when chicken falls below 2 kg. As orders are processed throughout the day, CurryIQ tracks deductions in real time and sends a notification the moment any ingredient crosses its threshold. Alerts appear in the dashboard and can be sent via push notification.
Can I manage suppliers and purchase orders in CurryIQ?
Yes. CurryIQ includes a supplier directory where you store contact details and pricing for each vendor. When you receive a delivery, you record it as a purchase order — this updates your stock levels and tracks your cost per ingredient over time. You can compare prices across suppliers and see your purchase history for any ingredient.
