How offline mode works
Internet drops — nothing changes
CurryIQ detects the outage instantly and switches to local mode. Your staff sees an offline indicator. The POS continues working exactly as before — orders, KOTs, bills, payments.
Work normally through the outage
Take orders, send them to the kitchen display, print bills, accept UPI and cash payments. All of it works offline. Orders queue securely in local storage on the device.
Internet returns — sync is automatic

Does CurryIQ work without internet?
Yes. CurryIQ has a full offline mode powered by IndexedDB local storage. When your internet goes down, the POS continues working normally — you can take orders, generate KOTs, print bills, and accept payments. Nothing is lost. Everything syncs automatically the moment your connection returns.
What happens to orders taken offline when the internet returns?
All orders taken offline are queued in local storage and synced to the cloud automatically when connectivity is restored. The sync happens in the background — your staff does not need to do anything. A sync indicator shows how many orders are pending and confirms when sync is complete.
Can I print bills offline?
Yes. Bill printing works fully offline. CurryIQ generates a complete GST-compliant invoice locally on the device — with CGST/SGST breakdown, SAC codes, and all required fields — and sends it to your connected printer without needing an internet connection.
Is offline mode available on all CurryIQ plans?
